Cyc du Soleil can supply your event with a completely carbon neutral stage that is powered by the sun and by human legs!

If it is within striking distance we can even pedal it there too.

How it works:

A number of state of the art solar panels mounted on tricycles and the pedal generator trickle charge a large battery bank (which arrives fully charged). We have a number of inverters from 300W to 2500W (peak 5000W) all of which are capable of powering a very very loud sound system and stage/mood/disco lighting and even a projector.

Our ‘Sail Boat Arena’ made up of 6 large sailing boat sails can be set up to create cover for 50 - 300 people.

We have at our disposal: PA systems, staging, amps, mics, stands, lights, DJ equipment, silent disco headphones, projectors, seating and the knowledge to design a pop up venue around the needs of the event.

Programming

We are a programming organisation. For festivals we look to brand and programme our own stage and can call upon regular performers such as the comedians Rob Newman and Simon Munnery, and a number of up and coming comics, a whole host of spoken word artists (through Hammer & Tongue we have staged the like of Kate Tempest, John Hegley, Hollie McNish, and Luke Wright as well as beatboxers such as Beardyman) and bands such as Vienna Ditto and Moogieman, and improv troupes such as the Oxford Imps

We can also set up for theatre and can create a simple black box set up with basic lighting control. The fully charged system is capable of amplifying small bands / acoustic acts, and DJ’s throughout a weekend even in cloudy conditions and with the laziest of cyclists!
