Steve Larkin is a singer song-writer, mandolin player, solo performer, and front man of klezmer/ska band Inflatable Buddha.
He performs original self-accompanied songs, occasionally with a loop pedal, that vary from whimsical comic satires, to politically charged umpa-rhythm’d anthemic power-pieces, to raucous sing-alongs, and waltzes.
Has was formerly a vocalist in electronica band Valley Forge.
In 2003 he formed Inflatable Buddha with remarkably talented singer song-writer and double bass player Susanna Starling.
Primarily a live act known for highly entertaining ‘cabaret’ style sets that even get your granddad dancing by the end of the night, Inflatable Buddha have performed extensively from The Glastonbury Festival to Vancouver, supporting acts as diverse as The 3 Daft Monkeys and Charlie Chuck!
